Today has been a trying day.
We're all going to have those kinds of days, it's just part of life. It's how we handle our feelings that makes the difference in our success, our happiness, and our relationships with others.
It's okay to go to bed early, take some time to ourselves - even if it's a hot bath, or work out the stress and frustration. But it's not okay to take this anger out on those around you - whether friend, foe, or stranger. Being quiet and stand-offish is okay in moderation, but snapping someone's head off is always unacceptable.
When we're angry, frustrated, irritated, short-tempered, or on the edge of a mental break-down, we need to find productive ways to channel that energy into something good so we'll build ourselves and others up, not tear down.
Are you easily angered? Do you quickly snap and allow your mood to change the way you'd normally treat other people? What changes can you make to deal with anger?
Are you good at handling frustration? In what ways do you deal with stress? Please comment and share - we'd love new ideas!
